Identifiable by his fiery halo, the young Prophet Yusuf (or Joseph, in Christian tradition) stands before the Pharaoh, and predicts that Egypt's harvests will be bad for seven years in a row. Despite the location of the story, this royal garden scene is painted in the distinctive mode of Iran.
