The author of this book, Ibrahim Hanif, whom Haği Khfa names Molla Ibrahim Hanif, was an inspector of the pious foundations of Mecca and Medina, at the time when the Ottoman bibliograph (m. 1068) wrote his Bibliographical Dictionary (IV, page 61); he is essentially different from Seyyid Ibrahim Hanif, who, in 1201 of the hatch, made a pilgrimage to Hede, he composed a relationship described under n ° n It follows that it is necessary to correct what the Copist has written in the preface, where the dedication to Sultan Mahmoud مIl (1148-1168 de l’ hégire) [folio 1 verso] is read, and to replace the name of this sovereign with that of Mohammed مĕمIl IV (1058-1099 de l’ hégire = 1648-1687). The Arabic text of the Shifa, which is divided into four sections, can be found in the Arab Fund, under the headings 1953-1956, 5265, 6083; comments, in Arabic, exist under the headings 1957 and 1958. A luxury copy, decorated with a sarloh; a biography of Aboul-Fadhl de Iyadh el-Yahsoubi reads at the end of the second volume of this manuscript. |
