| Not | Tarikh-i Bitlisi; Zeyl-i heşt bihişt; History of the Muslim world from its origins to the conquest of Egypt by Sultan Selim Khan, and until the advent of his son, Shah Sultan Soleïman, by Aboul-Fazl Mohammed ibn Idris el-Defteri el-Bitlisi (m. 982), written after the Arabic and Persian chronicles, and divided into twelve chapters, themselves divided into sections, details of which are given throughout the preface. The narrative of Aboul-Fazl el-Bitlisi is elegant, but extremely abbreviated, and it takes some development only at the beginning of the Muslim era. The first three chapters deal with the creation of Adam, the geniuses, the angels; the chapters four to nine, of Muhammad and the history of his family; the tenth, of the orthothoxes and the Umayyads of Damascus; the eleventh, of the two Abbasid dynasties; the twelfth, of the Fatimite khalifes, in the Maghreb and Egypt and of the two dynasties of the Mamlouks who ruled this contra.
