| Not | The copy of the n ° I was completed (f. 243v) on 20 Rabī’ II 1181H., which corresponds to the [8th] year of the ğulūs of Šāh ", lam [II], on a Saturday, in the, awba dAwadh, by (Atamā) -Rām; on the one of the n ° II, which seems due to the same copist, was the 15, afar 1182H. .; Ms. acquired in India by J.-B. Gentil (cf. the package leaflet of his hand appearing in f. 2v-3). This is the “n ° 15” (erroneous figure, crossed out and replaced by “n ° 14” in f. 3) of the list of ms. [comp. to Suppl. persan 97, 243, 431, 446, 507, 575, 621, 667, 682, 785, 810, 836 and 840] that Gentil sent around 1775 to Anquetil-Duperron [c' is indeed the “n ° 14” in the list of volumes received by Anquetil in 1775 and which appears in f. 92-93 of ms N.a.fr. 8878]. A note in the f. 2v indicates that Gentil sent him to the intermediary of M. Le Dez, who dropped him off at M. Bernier, rue N.-D. Victories, and Anquetil received it (cf. f. 2v) in December 1775. To the f. 1v a table of contents is by the hand of Anquetil, referring to f. Ms. The penultimate tail guard shows a leaflet in French, with another hand, but is barred.; Contient : SIRR-i AKBAR, ou SIRR-i ASRĀR.
