| Not | Papyrus fragment preserving an etymological text concerning the festival of Scirophoria, written in Greek in Egypt and dated by the editors to the 2nd century AD. The annual Athenian festival was held during threshing time in the month of Scirophoria (June/July). It was one of the few times of year that women held their own events. The fragment may be a copy of text written by Lysimachides (c. 360–281 BC). |
