The end of Book 2 (column two) is followed by the first line of Book 3. Below that, another text with calculations was later added in a different hand. This text continues on the verso and includes the date 26 May-24 June 5 BC, which gives a terminus ante quem for the copying of the Homer text (the date before which it must have been written) . |
