The author, LAlî ibn LAbgas al-Madjoûsî, born in Arradjân, was a disciple of Aboû Mâhir (ماș) Moûsâ ibn Saïyâr. He died in 384 of the Hégire (994-995 by J. C.). The book was composed under the auspices of LAdhod al-Daula le Bouid; this is why it is designated under the title of العLدLor المل“”“le royal.” The present day of the first ten sections. |
