Names are placed in the alphabet order. The author, LAbd al-Raschîd Lâliauteur ibn Noûrî al-Baskawî, born in the city of the Caspian Sea, in the article dedicated to this town, says that his father died in 806 of the Hégire (1403-1404 of J. C.). In the preface of our copy, the ethnic name of the author is written الباDans. At the time 75, we read a piece of facing worms in on, and attributed to an Egyptian schaikh, named Moș ammad al-Bakrî. At the time 76 stands on the poet Al-Motanabbî.
